Important

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's irqchip/gic-v2m component. This vulnerability allows a use-after-free condition via gicv2m_get_fwnode() being wrongly marked as __init, causing it to be freed while still registered with the PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) subsystem during a PCI host bridge probe.

The root cause is: the function ib_device_rename() renames the name with lock. But in the function kobject_uevent(), this name is accessed without lock protection at the same time. The solution is to add the lock protection when this name is accessed in the function kobject_uevent().

CWE-125 - Out-of-bounds Read

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's eventpoll (epoll) mechanism. A local attacker could exploit a use-after-free vulnerability due to incorrect handling of the 'ep' refcount while the 'ep' mutex is still held. This can lead to memory corruption, potentially allowing the attacker to achieve privilege escalation or execute arbitrary code on the system.
