Title
NextAuth.js: OAuth state, nonce, and PKCE check cookies are not bound to the provider that created them
Summary
NextAuth.js provides authentication for Next.js. Prior to@auth/core 0.41.3 and next-auth 4.24.15 and 5.0.0-beta.32, Auth.js stores the OAuth/OIDC anti-CSRF checks state, nonce, and the PKCE verifier in global cookies that are not bound to the provider that created them. On callback, a check value minted during a sign-in started with one provider can satisfy the callback for a different provider because the stored cookie is not verified against the callback provider's identity, including the provider ID, issuer, client ID, or redirect URI. In a multi-provider application that permits account linking while logged in, when one provider's authorization request is observable and a target provider callback can be satisfied without a PKCE verifier, an attacker can lure a victim into starting a legitimate same-origin flow and link the attacker's target-provider account to the victim's Auth.js user. The linked provider grants the attacker persistent sign-in to the victim's account, while cross-site request forgery alone is insufficient. This issue is fixed in @auth/core 0.41.3 and next-auth 4.24.15 and 5.0.0-beta.32.

Title
TinaCMS: Cross-origin postMessage handlers and rich-text URL-sanitization bypass enable stored XSS and session takeover
Summary
Tina is a headless content management system. In versions prior to @tinacms/app 2.5.6 and tinacms 3.9.3, cross-origin postMessage handlers and a rich-text URL-sanitization bypass enable stored XSS and session takeover. The library registers window message listeners — the useTina overlay handler, the OAuth authentication popup handler, and the admin↔preview iframe GraphQL reducer — that act on event.data without verifying event.origin or event.source and post messages using non-specific target origins, while insufficient URL sanitization in rich-text content allows malicious URLs to persist and execute. A page the victim visits (or a window in an opener/iframe relationship with a Tina admin) can forge messages to drive the editor, inject preview content, or observe/forge the OAuth popup channel to take over an authenticated editing session. This issue has been fixed in versions @tinacms/app 2.5.6 and tinacms 3.9.3.

Title
Traccar Client: silent configuration hijack via unverified deep link redirects all GPS telemetry
Summary
Traccar Client is a GPS tracking mobile app for sending location updates to private servers using the open-source Traccar platform. In versions 9.7.19 and below, a single crafted deep link can silently hijack all GPS tracking parameters and redirect telemetry to an attacker-controlled server. The app registers a custom org.traccar.client://config deep-link scheme that silently writes attacker-supplied parameters (server URL, device ID, accuracy, distance, and interval) into the app's persistent configuration with no confirmation, notification, or visual indication. A single crafted link delivered via SMS, email, a webpage, or any installed app can therefore reconfigure the app the moment the victim taps it, with no special permissions required. As a result, an attacker can covertly redirect all of the victim's GPS telemetry to their own server at maximum precision and frequency, and the change persists across restarts. This gives the attacker continuous, real-time tracking of the victim's location. This issue has been fixed in version 9.7.20.

Title
Summarize < 0.15.1 Unauthorized Daemon Request via Untrusted Events
Summary
Summarize prior to 0.15.1 contains a vulnerability in the hover summary feature that allows malicious pages to dispatch synthetic mouseover events over attacker-controlled links, causing the extension to make authenticated daemon requests using stored tokens without verifying event trustworthiness. Attackers can place local or private-network URLs behind hoverable links to route authenticated requests through the daemon, potentially accessing sensitive internal endpoints when users interact with attacker-controlled content.

Title
Netty's Default QUIC token handler accepts any client-supplied token
Summary
Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. NoQuicTokenHandler is the tokenHandler used when the application does not set one. Prior to version 4.2.15.Final, its writeToken() returns false (server will not send Retry — acceptable), but validateToken() unconditionally `return 0`. In QuicheQuicServerCodec.handlePacket(), a non-negative return from validateToken() is interpreted as 'token is valid, ODCID starts at offset 0', causing the server to call quiche_accept as if the client's address had been validated by a Retry round-trip. Per RFC 9000 §8.1, a validated address lifts the 3× anti-amplification send limit. Thus any attacker who includes ANY non-empty token bytes in an Initial packet — with a spoofed victim source IP — causes the Netty server to treat the victim as validated and reflect full-size handshake flights (certificates, etc.) toward it without the 3× cap. The correct 'no token handler' semantics would be to return -1 (invalid) so the normal un-validated path and amplification limit apply. Version 4.2.15.Final patches the issue.

Title
Home Assistant: Cross-origin iframe access token exfiltration via WebView JS bridge callback injection
Summary
Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first. Prior to 2026.4.1 for iOS and 2026.4.4 for Android, he Home Assistant Companion apps for Android and iOS expose a JavaScript bridge to the in-app WebView window.externalApp on Android and webkit.messageHandlers.getExternalAuth (alongside revokeExternalAuth and externalBus) on iOS. Two flaws expose the bridge to all frames (including cross-origin iframes) and unsanitized interpolation of the JavaScript callback identifier allows a cross-origin iframe rendered inside the Companion app to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the Home Assistant frontend's main-frame origin and exfiltrate the signed-in user's access token. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.4.1 for iOS and 2026.4.4 for Android.

Title
WWBN AVideo: Unauthenticated Arbitrary Email Sending via sendEmail.json.php Allows Phishing from Site's Legitimate From Address
Summary
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, objects/sendEmail.json.php exposes two branches depending on whether contactForm=1 is submitted. When the parameter is omitted, the endpoint sets $sendTo to an attacker-supplied email and, for unauthenticated callers, uses the site's own contact email as the message From:/Reply-To:. The endpoint is explicitly allow-listed as a "public write action" in objects/functionsSecurity.php (line 885), so it requires no authentication or CSRF token. An unauthenticated attacker (solving a captcha) can force the site's own SMTP infrastructure to send attacker-composed emails to arbitrary recipients with the site's legitimate sender address, passing SPF/DKIM/DMARC for the site's domain — ideal for targeted phishing and brand impersonation. Commit 4e3709895857a5857f0edb46b0ee984de0d9e1a2 contains an updated fix.

Mitigation
Architecture and Design
  • Use a mechanism that can validate the identity of the source, such as a certificate, and validate the integrity of data to ensure that it cannot be modified in transit using an Adversary-in-the-Middle (AITM) attack.
  • When designing functionality of actions in the URL scheme, consider whether the action should be accessible to all mobile applications, or if an allowlist of applications to interface with is appropriate.
CAPEC-500: WebView Injection

An adversary, through a previously installed malicious application, injects code into the context of a web page displayed by a WebView component. Through the injected code, an adversary is able to manipulate the DOM tree and cookies of the page, expose sensitive information, and can launch attacks against the web application from within the web page.

CAPEC-594: Traffic Injection

An adversary injects traffic into the target's network connection. The adversary is therefore able to degrade or disrupt the connection, and potentially modify the content. This is not a flooding attack, as the adversary is not focusing on exhausting resources. Instead, the adversary is crafting a specific input to affect the system in a particular way.

CAPEC-595: Connection Reset

In this attack pattern, an adversary injects a connection reset packet to one or both ends of a target's connection. The attacker is therefore able to have the target and/or the destination server sever the connection without having to directly filter the traffic between them.

CAPEC-596: TCP RST Injection

An adversary injects one or more TCP RST packets to a target after the target has made a HTTP GET request. The goal of this attack is to have the target and/or destination web server terminate the TCP connection.
