Title
DocsGPT through 0.20.0 OAuth Token Disclosure via Wildcard postMessage
Summary
DocsGPT through 0.20.0 posts OAuth connector session tokens to a wildcard target origin in the callback-status endpoint without validating sender origin. Attackers can obtain session tokens and provider account emails by acting as window.opener during OAuth authorization, then use tokens to disconnect victims' cloud storage connectors.

Title
Apache Airflow FAB provider: FAB Authentik provider: id_token issuer/audience not validated
Summary
Apache Airflow FAB provider: the Authentik OAuth path in the FAB auth manager does not validate the issuer or audience claims of the id_token it accepts. An attacker holding a token that the same Authentik identity provider minted for a different client application can present it to Airflow and be authenticated as the user it names, because the audience claim is never checked. Affects deployments using the FAB auth manager with Authentik OAuth where the same Authentik instance also serves other applications; the attacker needs a valid token for any of those other applications, not for Airflow. CVE-2026-75156 corrected the same missing validation on the Azure AD path in this file; the Authentik path was left unchanged and is fixed here. Deployments that applied the CVE-2026-75156 fix and use Authentik must also upgrade for this one. Users of apache-airflow-providers-fab are recommended to upgrade to version 3.9.0 or later, which fixes the issue.

Title
undici vulnerable to cross-origin cache poisoning via missing origin isolation in interceptors
Summary
undici 8.10.0 omits the destination origin from the cache and request-deduplication keys when the cache or deduplicate interceptor is composed directly onto a Client or Pool. Because the internal cache key falls back to an empty origin string, a cacheable or in-flight response from one upstream origin is returned for a request to a different, trusted origin whenever the method, path, and relevant headers match, which permits cross-origin information disclosure and persistent cache poisoning. The reporter demonstrated a full authentication bypass in which a JWT signed with an attacker-controlled key was accepted as belonging to a trusted issuer, and the trusted origin was never contacted. This is a regression introduced in 8.10.0 and affects undici versions from 8.10.0 up to 8.10.2. Applications using an Agent, which carries the origin in its dispatch options, are not affected. Users should upgrade to undici 8.10.2.

Title
Apache Storm Webapp: Authenticated API Responses Exposed to Arbitrary Web Origins
Summary
Description Three separate mechanisms allowed a web page on an unrelated origin to read responses that Storm's HTTP components served to an authenticated user. The Logviewer reflected the request's `Origin` header back in `Access-Control-Allow-Origin` while also sending `Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true`. The published security model documents a permissive `Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *` posture as accepted, which is safe precisely because browsers refuse to honour `*` together with credentials; reflecting the concrete origin removes that protection. The shared CORS filter used by the UI, the Logviewer and DRPC was configured with a response header name where an initialisation parameter name was expected. The container ignored the setting and applied its own defaults, which allow credentials. Finally, the UI and Logviewer wrapped API responses in a caller-supplied JSONP callback for every GET request. A script element on any origin can load such a response, which bypasses the same-origin policy entirely rather than negotiating it, and there was no way to turn the behaviour off. In each case the effect is that a page visited by an authenticated operator can read cluster, topology and log data on their behalf. Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where the Logviewer no longer reflects the request origin in a credentialed response, the CORS filter is configured explicitly, and JSONP wrapping is governed by `ui.enable.jsonp`, which defaults to false. Note that disabling JSONP is a behaviour change for tooling that passes a `callback` query parameter; such tooling should be moved to ordinary JSON requests. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should place the UI, Logviewer and DRPC HTTP endpoints behind a reverse proxy that strips `Access-Control-Allow-Origin` and `Access-Control-Allow-Credentials` from responses and rejects requests carrying a `callback` parameter. Credit The ASF -- found using Claude agents to study the security of open-source projects, validated and reported by Apache Storm.

Title
MCP DNS-rebinding origin check in AshAi is bypassed by a spoofed X-Forwarded-Proto header
Summary
Origin Validation Error vulnerability in ash-project ash_ai allows a malicious web page to bypass the MCP server's DNS-rebinding protection and issue cross-site requests to a user's local MCP server with that user's actor. In AshAi.Mcp.Server, with the default allowed_origins: nil, origin_allowed?/3 accepts an origin when uri.host == conn.host and the forwarded scheme is https. Both values are attacker-controlled: conn.host comes from the Host header and the scheme is read from the raw x-forwarded-proto header with no trusted-proxy check. Under DNS rebinding the browser sends the attacker's origin and a matching host, and page JavaScript may set X-Forwarded-Proto: https, so the check passes with no TLS or proxy involved. The fix trusts only localhost origins by default; other origins require an explicit allowed_origins allowlist. This issue affects ash_ai: from 0.8.0 before 1.0.0.

Title
Dropbox Dash MCP Server DNS Rebinding via Missing Host Header Validation
Summary
The Dash MCP server bound its listener to the loopback address but never checked the host a request named. src/mcp_server_dash.py constructed the server for its network mode with the interface restricted to loopback and no transport-security settings, so a name that had been pointed at the loopback address still reached the listener while carrying the attacker's host name. A page in a visitor's browser could therefore drive the local server and invoke its company-search and file-detail tools under the Dropbox credential the server holds. Only the network mode was reachable this way; the standard input mode was not. The fix supplies transport-security settings that enable host checking and allow only the loopback name and port, rejecting other hosts before a tool runs. The repository publishes no versions, so the affected boundary is the commit preceding the fix.

A page in a visitor\u0027s browser could therefore drive the local server and invoke its company-search and file-detail tools under the Dropbox credential the server holds. Only the network mode was reachable this way; the standard input mode was not. The fix supplies transport-security settings that enable host checking and allow only the loopback name and port, rejecting other hosts before a tool runs. The repository publishes no versions, so the affected boundary is the commit preceding the fix."

CAPEC-111: JSON Hijacking (aka JavaScript Hijacking)

An attacker targets a system that uses JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) as a transport mechanism between the client and the server (common in Web 2.0 systems using AJAX) to steal possibly confidential information transmitted from the server back to the client inside the JSON object by taking advantage of the loophole in the browser's Same Origin Policy that does not prohibit JavaScript from one website to be included and executed in the context of another website.

CAPEC-141: Cache Poisoning

An attacker exploits the functionality of cache technologies to cause specific data to be cached that aids the attackers' objectives. This describes any attack whereby an attacker places incorrect or harmful material in cache. The targeted cache can be an application's cache (e.g. a web browser cache) or a public cache (e.g. a DNS or ARP cache). Until the cache is refreshed, most applications or clients will treat the corrupted cache value as valid. This can lead to a wide range of exploits including redirecting web browsers towards sites that install malware and repeatedly incorrect calculations based on the incorrect value.

CAPEC-142: DNS Cache Poisoning

A domain name server translates a domain name (such as www.example.com) into an IP address that Internet hosts use to contact Internet resources. An adversary modifies a public DNS cache to cause certain names to resolve to incorrect addresses that the adversary specifies. The result is that client applications that rely upon the targeted cache for domain name resolution will be directed not to the actual address of the specified domain name but to some other address. Adversaries can use this to herd clients to sites that install malware on the victim's computer or to masquerade as part of a Pharming attack.

CAPEC-160: Exploit Script-Based APIs

Some APIs support scripting instructions as arguments. Methods that take scripted instructions (or references to scripted instructions) can be very flexible and powerful. However, if an attacker can specify the script that serves as input to these methods they can gain access to a great deal of functionality. For example, HTML pages support <script> tags that allow scripting languages to be embedded in the page and then interpreted by the receiving web browser. If the content provider is malicious, these scripts can compromise the client application. Some applications may even execute the scripts under their own identity (rather than the identity of the user providing the script) which can allow attackers to perform activities that would otherwise be denied to them.

CAPEC-21: Exploitation of Trusted Identifiers

An adversary guesses, obtains, or "rides" a trusted identifier (e.g. session ID, resource ID, cookie, etc.) to perform authorized actions under the guise of an authenticated user or service.

CAPEC-384: Application API Message Manipulation via Man-in-the-Middle

An attacker manipulates either egress or ingress data from a client within an application framework in order to change the content of messages. Performing this attack can allow the attacker to gain unauthorized privileges within the application, or conduct attacks such as phishing, deceptive strategies to spread malware, or traditional web-application attacks. The techniques require use of specialized software that allow the attacker to perform adversary-in-the-middle (CAPEC-94) communications between the web browser and the remote system. Despite the use of AiTH software, the attack is actually directed at the server, as the client is one node in a series of content brokers that pass information along to the application framework. Additionally, it is not true "Adversary-in-the-Middle" attack at the network layer, but an application-layer attack the root cause of which is the master applications trust in the integrity of code supplied by the client.

CAPEC-385: Transaction or Event Tampering via Application API Manipulation

An attacker hosts or joins an event or transaction within an application framework in order to change the content of messages or items that are being exchanged. Performing this attack allows the attacker to manipulate content in such a way as to produce messages or content that look authentic but may contain deceptive links, substitute one item or another, spoof an existing item and conduct a false exchange, or otherwise change the amounts or identity of what is being exchanged. The techniques require use of specialized software that allow the attacker to man-in-the-middle communications between the web browser and the remote system in order to change the content of various application elements. Often, items exchanged in game can be monetized via sales for coin, virtual dollars, etc. The purpose of the attack is for the attack to scam the victim by trapping the data packets involved the exchange and altering the integrity of the transfer process.

CAPEC-386: Application API Navigation Remapping

An attacker manipulates either egress or ingress data from a client within an application framework in order to change the destination and/or content of links/buttons displayed to a user within API messages. Performing this attack allows the attacker to manipulate content in such a way as to produce messages or content that looks authentic but contains links/buttons that point to an attacker controlled destination. Some applications make navigation remapping more difficult to detect because the actual HREF values of images, profile elements, and links/buttons are masked. One example would be to place an image in a user's photo gallery that when clicked upon redirected the user to an off-site location. Also, traditional web vulnerabilities (such as CSRF) can be constructed with remapped buttons or links. In some cases navigation remapping can be used for Phishing attacks or even means to artificially boost the page view, user site reputation, or click-fraud.

CAPEC-387: Navigation Remapping To Propagate Malicious Content

An adversary manipulates either egress or ingress data from a client within an application framework in order to change the content of messages and thereby circumvent the expected application logic.

CAPEC-388: Application API Button Hijacking

An attacker manipulates either egress or ingress data from a client within an application framework in order to change the destination and/or content of buttons displayed to a user within API messages. Performing this attack allows the attacker to manipulate content in such a way as to produce messages or content that looks authentic but contains buttons that point to an attacker controlled destination.

CAPEC-510: SaaS User Request Forgery

An adversary, through a previously installed malicious application, performs malicious actions against a third-party Software as a Service (SaaS) application (also known as a cloud based application) by leveraging the persistent and implicit trust placed on a trusted user's session. This attack is executed after a trusted user is authenticated into a cloud service, "piggy-backing" on the authenticated session, and exploiting the fact that the cloud service believes it is only interacting with the trusted user. If successful, the actions embedded in the malicious application will be processed and accepted by the targeted SaaS application and executed at the trusted user's privilege level.

CAPEC-59: Session Credential Falsification through Prediction

This attack targets predictable session ID in order to gain privileges. The attacker can predict the session ID used during a transaction to perform spoofing and session hijacking.

CAPEC-60: Reusing Session IDs (aka Session Replay)

This attack targets the reuse of valid session ID to spoof the target system in order to gain privileges. The attacker tries to reuse a stolen session ID used previously during a transaction to perform spoofing and session hijacking. Another name for this type of attack is Session Replay.

CAPEC-75: Manipulating Writeable Configuration Files

Generally these are manually edited files that are not in the preview of the system administrators, any ability on the attackers' behalf to modify these files, for example in a CVS repository, gives unauthorized access directly to the application, the same as authorized users.

CAPEC-76: Manipulating Web Input to File System Calls

An attacker manipulates inputs to the target software which the target software passes to file system calls in the OS. The goal is to gain access to, and perhaps modify, areas of the file system that the target software did not intend to be accessible.

CAPEC-89: Pharming

A pharming attack occurs when the victim is fooled into entering sensitive data into supposedly trusted locations, such as an online bank site or a trading platform. An attacker can impersonate these supposedly trusted sites and have the victim be directed to their site rather than the originally intended one. Pharming does not require script injection or clicking on malicious links for the attack to succeed.
