Title
langgraph-api: Relative webhook targets in LangGraph Server can reach in-process routes without authentication
Summary
langgraph-api implements the LangGraph API for rapid development and testing. Prior to 0.10.0, langgraph-api permits a run or cron to specify a relative webhook target that is delivered through an in-process loopback transport, and the authentication middleware treats that transport as internal without applying the authentication context used for external requests. In deployments that rely on per-user authorization to separate threads and runs, an authenticated user can direct a webhook to the server's own thread and run routes, allowing creation of a run on or modification of another user's thread and limited incorporation of the targeted thread's metadata into the created run record. The affected path requires webhook targets and per-user authorization boundaries; deployments that deliberately re-enable loopback delivery should restrict it to controlled same-process routes because those webhooks remain unauthenticated. This issue is fixed in version 0.10.0.

Title
Coder's OIDC email_verified type coercion bypass enables account takeover via unverified email linking
Summary
Coder allows organizations to provision remote development environments via Terraform. Prior to versions 2.29.7, 2.32.7, 2.33.8, and 2.34.2, Coder's OIDC callback checked `email_verified` with a direct Go `bool` type assertion. When an IdP returned the claim as a non-boolean (for example the string `"false"`) or omitted it, the assertion failed open and the email was treated as verified. Combined with an unconditional email-based account fallback, this enabled account takeover. The fix in versions 2.29.7, 2.32.7, 2.33.8, and 2.34.2 coerces `email_verified` across bool, string and numeric types (fail-closed) and blocks the email fallback when the matched user already has a different linked IdP subject. As a workaround, ensure the IdP returns `email_verified` as a native JSON boolean. The email-fallback linking issue has no configuration workaround; upgrading is required.

Title
Coder vulnerable to OIDC account takeover via email-based user matching and email_verified bypass
Summary
Coder allows organizations to provision remote development environments via Terraform. Prior to versions 2.29.7, 2.32.7, 2.33.8, and 2.34.2, two flaws in Coder's OIDC login chained into account takeover. Email-based user matching fell back to linking by email without checking for an existing link to a different IdP subject and the `email_verified` claim was only enforced when present as a boolean `false` so an absent or non-boolean claim was treated as verified. The fix in versions 2.29.7, 2.32.7, 2.33.8, and 2.34.2 restricts the email fallback to first-time and legacy linking and defaults `email_verified` to false when the claim is absent or of an unexpected type. As a workaround, configure the OIDC provider to disallow self-registration or to require email verification before issuing tokens.

Prior to versions 2.29.7, 2.32.7, 2.33.8, and 2.34.2, two flaws in Coder\u0027s OIDC login chained into account takeover. As a workaround, configure the OIDC provider to disallow self-registration or to require email verification before issuing tokens."

Title
CoreWCF: SAML SubjectConfirmation methods and holder-of-key proof keys are not enforced
Summary
CoreWCF is a port of the service side of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) to .NET Core. Prior to 1.8.1 and 1.9.1, CoreWCF SAML token validation does not enforce SubjectConfirmation method URIs or holder-of-key proof keys in SamlSecurityTokenHandler, allowing holder-of-key downgrade or custom confirmation method assertions to authenticate a subject without proving authority over the assertion. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.1 and 1.9.1.

Title
pytonapi has a Webhook Custom Path Authentication Bypass
Summary
pytonapi is a Python SDK for TONAPI that provides REST API, streaming, and webhook access to the TON blockchain. From 2.0.0 to 2.2.0, TonapiWebhookDispatcher fails to validate the Authorization header when a webhook handler is registered with the documented path argument, because setup() stores bearer tokens only under the default suffix paths and never adds the custom path to the token map, so self._tokens.get(path) returns None and the authentication guard is skipped. An unauthenticated remote attacker can POST forged payloads to the custom webhook endpoint and trigger victim-defined handlers. This issue is fixed in version 2.2.1.

An unauthenticated remote attacker can POST forged payloads to the custom webhook endpoint and trigger victim-defined handlers. This issue is fixed in version 2.2.1."

Title
Wallos: Unauthenticated database replacement via import endpoint on fresh install
Summary
Wallos is an open-source, self-hostable personal subscription tracker. Prior to version 4.9.4, endpoints/db/import.php has no authentication. The only guard is a user-table row count — if zero (fresh/unconfigured install), an unauthenticated attacker can replace the entire database. This issue has been patched in version 4.9.4.

Title
Daytona: Cross-tenant organization takeover via invitation acceptance with an unverified email
Summary
Daytona is a secure and elastic infrastructure runtime for AI-generated code execution and agent workflows. Prior to 0.184.0, organization invitations could be accepted (and declined) by a user whose email matched the invitation but had not been verified. Daytona authenticates users via OIDC and matches an invitation's target email against the email in the caller's token, but the invitation accept and decline paths did not require that email to be verified, unlike organization creation, which already enforced verification. On identity providers that allow self-service signup and issue a session before the email is verified, an actor could register an address matching a pending invitation, leave it unverified, and accept the invitation, joining the target organization with the role the invitation carried (up to Owner). This vulnerability is fixed in 0.184.0.

Title
backpack/crud: MyAccountController allows changing the login email without a current-password check
Summary
backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. From 6.0.0 until 6.8.14 and 7.0.38, MyAccountController::postAccountInfoForm at POST /admin/edit-account-info permits AccountInfoRequest to update backpack_authentication_column(), which is email by default, without requiring current_password or otherwise verifying the account's existing password. An attacker with a temporary authenticated Backpack session can change the account-recovery email and later use the password-reset flow after the original session expires, converting session compromise into persistent account takeover. The same mechanism permits an insider to set a personal recovery address before access is revoked. The separate password-change endpoint is not affected because it verifies old_password. This issue is fixed in versions 6.8.14 and 7.0.38.

From 6.0.0 until 6.8.14 and 7.0.38, MyAccountController::postAccountInfoForm at POST /admin/edit-account-info permits AccountInfoRequest to update backpack_authentication_column(), which is email by default, without requiring current_password or otherwise verifying the account\u0027s existing password. This issue is fixed in versions 6.8.14 and 7.0.38."

Title
File Browser: Authentication Bypass via Proxy Auth Header Forgery
Summary
File Browser is a file managing interface for uploading, deleting, previewing, renaming, and editing files within a specified directory. Starting with 2.0.0-rc.1, when FileBrowser is configured with proxy authentication (auth.method=proxy), any unauthenticated attacker who can reach the server directly can impersonate any user - including admin - by sending a single forged HTTP header. No credentials are required. Additionally, specifying a non-existent username causes the server to automatically create a new user account, providing an account creation primitive with no authorization. This is an already known issue that has been documented in the documentation for several years, but has not been documented as a vulnerability before.

Title
Laci Synchroni Backend Vulnerable to Account Takeover / User Impersonation via Client-Side Configuration Manipulation
Summary
Laci Synchroni is a decentralized mod and appearance sync server and plugin for Dalamud. Versions of the backend prior to 1.2.3 have an improper authentication vulnerability in the application's OAuth2 login flow. The application relies on client-side state by trusting the `UID` field inside the `Authentications` object of a user's local `config.json` file. By manually editing this local file on their PC prior to logging in, a user can supply an arbitrary UID. Because the server fails to validate that the authenticated OAuth2 identity matches the requested UID, an attacker can fully impersonate any target user and perform actions on their behalf. This issue has been resolved in version 1.2.3. The patch modifies `AuthorizeOauthAsync` inside the `SecretKeyAuthenticatorService` to strictly bind the lookup of the requested User ID (`requestedUid`) to the record of the successfully authenticated identity (`primaryUid`). The server will no longer load or return session tokens for a requested UID unless it matches the verified, authenticated database record. No known workarounds are available.

"value": "Laci Synchroni is a decentralized mod and appearance sync server and plugin for Dalamud. Versions of the backend prior to 1.2.3 have an improper authentication vulnerability in the application\u0027s OAuth2 login flow. The application relies on client-side state by trusting the `UID` field inside the `Authentications` object of a user\u0027s local `config.json` file. No known workarounds are available."

Mitigation
Architecture and Design

Strategy: Libraries or Frameworks

Use an authentication framework or library such as the OWASP ESAPI Authentication feature.

CAPEC-114: Authentication Abuse

An attacker obtains unauthorized access to an application, service or device either through knowledge of the inherent weaknesses of an authentication mechanism, or by exploiting a flaw in the authentication scheme's implementation. In such an attack an authentication mechanism is functioning but a carefully controlled sequence of events causes the mechanism to grant access to the attacker.

CAPEC-115: Authentication Bypass

An attacker gains access to application, service, or device with the privileges of an authorized or privileged user by evading or circumventing an authentication mechanism. The attacker is therefore able to access protected data without authentication ever having taken place.

CAPEC-151: Identity Spoofing

Identity Spoofing refers to the action of assuming (i.e., taking on) the identity of some other entity (human or non-human) and then using that identity to accomplish a goal. An adversary may craft messages that appear to come from a different principle or use stolen / spoofed authentication credentials.

CAPEC-194: Fake the Source of Data

An adversary takes advantage of improper authentication to provide data or services under a falsified identity. The purpose of using the falsified identity may be to prevent traceability of the provided data or to assume the rights granted to another individual. One of the simplest forms of this attack would be the creation of an email message with a modified "From" field in order to appear that the message was sent from someone other than the actual sender. The root of the attack (in this case the email system) fails to properly authenticate the source and this results in the reader incorrectly performing the instructed action. Results of the attack vary depending on the details of the attack, but common results include privilege escalation, obfuscation of other attacks, and data corruption/manipulation.

CAPEC-22: Exploiting Trust in Client

An attack of this type exploits vulnerabilities in client/server communication channel authentication and data integrity. It leverages the implicit trust a server places in the client, or more importantly, that which the server believes is the client. An attacker executes this type of attack by communicating directly with the server where the server believes it is communicating only with a valid client. There are numerous variations of this type of attack.

CAPEC-57: Utilizing REST's Trust in the System Resource to Obtain Sensitive Data

This attack utilizes a REST(REpresentational State Transfer)-style applications' trust in the system resources and environment to obtain sensitive data once SSL is terminated.

CAPEC-593: Session Hijacking

This type of attack involves an adversary that exploits weaknesses in an application's use of sessions in performing authentication. The adversary is able to steal or manipulate an active session and use it to gain unathorized access to the application.

CAPEC-633: Token Impersonation

An adversary exploits a weakness in authentication to create an access token (or equivalent) that impersonates a different entity, and then associates a process/thread to that that impersonated token. This action causes a downstream user to make a decision or take action that is based on the assumed identity, and not the response that blocks the adversary.

CAPEC-650: Upload a Web Shell to a Web Server

By exploiting insufficient permissions, it is possible to upload a web shell to a web server in such a way that it can be executed remotely. This shell can have various capabilities, thereby acting as a "gateway" to the underlying web server. The shell might execute at the higher permission level of the web server, providing the ability the execute malicious code at elevated levels.

CAPEC-94: Adversary in the Middle (AiTM)

An adversary targets the communication between two components (typically client and server), in order to alter or obtain data from transactions. A general approach entails the adversary placing themself within the communication channel between the two components.
