The Omron CX-One Version 4.60 and prior is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, which may allow an attacker to remotely execute arbitrary code. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.The specific flaw exists within the parsing of NCI files by the CX-Position application. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a fixed-length stack-based buffer.
