An adjacent WiFi peer needs no account or privileges on the victim host.\nUI:N - Once the rtw89 interface is operating, PPDU status and CFO parsing run automatically on received frames. The attacker does not need the victim to mount, open a device, or accept a prompt.\nS:U - Impact is memory corruption inside the same host kernel WiFi driver authority. This is not a VM escape, IOMMU bypass, or other cross-boundary break.\nC:H - Unchecked mac_id indexes cfo_tail[]/cfo_cnt[] and can write past rtw89_cfo_tracking_info into adjacent rtw89_dev state. That kernel memory corruption is defensibly leveraged for disclosure primitives, so confidentiality is High.\nI:H - This is a confirmed out-of-bounds write (cfo_tail[macid] += cfo_val and cfo_cnt[macid]++), which is High integrity impact under kernel OOB-write guidance and can yield write/control-flow primitives.\nA:H - Out-of-bounds writes into driver/device state can oops or panic the kernel in IRQ/NAPI context, and repeated adjacent triggering can cause reliable denial of service even without full exploitation."
