Title
mac80211: fix potential double free on mesh join
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mac80211: fix potential double free on mesh join
While commit 6a01afcf8468 ("mac80211: mesh: Free ie data when leaving
mesh") fixed a memory leak on mesh leave / teardown it introduced a
potential memory corruption caused by a double free when rejoining the
mesh:
ieee80211_leave_mesh()
-> kfree(sdata->u.mesh.ie);
...
ieee80211_join_mesh()
-> copy_mesh_setup()
-> old_ie = ifmsh->ie;
-> kfree(old_ie);
This double free / kernel panics can be reproduced by using wpa_supplicant
with an encrypted mesh (if set up without encryption via "iw" then
ifmsh->ie is always NULL, which avoids this issue). And then calling:
$ iw dev mesh0 mesh leave
$ iw dev mesh0 mesh join my-mesh
Note that typically these commands are not used / working when using
wpa_supplicant. And it seems that wpa_supplicant or wpa_cli are going
through a NETDEV_DOWN/NETDEV_UP cycle between a mesh leave and mesh join
where the NETDEV_UP resets the mesh.ie to NULL via a memcpy of
default_mesh_setup in cfg80211_netdev_notifier_call, which then avoids
the memory corruption, too.
The issue was first observed in an application which was not using
wpa_supplicant but "Senf" instead, which implements its own calls to
nl80211.
Fixing the issue by removing the kfree()'ing of the mesh IE in the mesh
join function and leaving it solely up to the mesh leave to free the
mesh IE.

And then calling:

$ iw dev mesh0 mesh leave
$ iw dev mesh0 mesh join my-mesh

The issue was first observed in an application which was not using
wpa_supplicant but "Senf" instead, which implements its own calls to
nl80211.

Fixing the issue by removing the kfree()'ing of the mesh IE in the mesh
join function and leaving it solely up to the mesh leave to free the
mesh IE."

Title
be2net: Fix buffer overflow in be_get_module_eeprom
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
be2net: Fix buffer overflow in be_get_module_eeprom
be_cmd_read_port_transceiver_data assumes that it is given a buffer that
is at least PAGE_DATA_LEN long, or twice that if the module supports SFF
8472. However, this is not always the case.
Fix this by passing the desired offset and length to
be_cmd_read_port_transceiver_data so that we only copy the bytes once.
Severity
7.8 (High)

Title
net: bonding: fix use-after-free after 802.3ad slave unbind
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: bonding: fix use-after-free after 802.3ad slave unbind
commit 0622cab0341c ("bonding: fix 802.3ad aggregator reselection"),
resolve case, when there is several aggregation groups in the same bond.
bond_3ad_unbind_slave will invalidate (clear) aggregator when
__agg_active_ports return zero. So, ad_clear_agg can be executed even, when
num_of_ports!=0. Than bond_3ad_unbind_slave can be executed again for,
previously cleared aggregator. NOTE: at this time bond_3ad_unbind_slave
will not update slave ports list, because lag_ports==NULL. So, here we
got slave ports, pointing to freed aggregator memory.
Fix with checking actual number of ports in group (as was before
commit 0622cab0341c ("bonding: fix 802.3ad aggregator reselection") ),
before ad_clear_agg().
The KASAN logs are as follows:

This is because in scatterwalk_copychunks(), we attempted to write to
a buffer (@sign) that was allocated in the stack (vmalloc area) by
crypt_message() and thus accessing its remaining 8 (x2) bytes ended up
crossing a page boundary.
To simply fix it, we could just pass @sign kmalloc'd from
crypt_message() and then we're done. Luckily, we don't seem to pass
any other vmalloc'd buffers in smb_rqst::rq_iov...
Instead, let's map the correct pages and offsets from vmalloc buffers
as well in cifs_sg_set_buf() and then avoiding such oopses.

Title
tcp: fix a signed-integer-overflow bug in tcp_add_backlog()
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tcp: fix a signed-integer-overflow bug in tcp_add_backlog()
The type of sk_rcvbuf and sk_sndbuf in struct sock is int, and
in tcp_add_backlog(), the variable limit is caculated by adding
sk_rcvbuf, sk_sndbuf and 64 * 1024, it may exceed the max value
of int and overflow. This patch reduces the limit budget by
halving the sndbuf to solve this issue since ACK packets are much
smaller than the payload.

Title
RDMA/rxe: Fix incomplete state save in rxe_requester
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/rxe: Fix incomplete state save in rxe_requester
If a send packet is dropped by the IP layer in rxe_requester()
the call to rxe_xmit_packet() can fail with err == -EAGAIN.
To recover, the state of the wqe is restored to the state before
the packet was sent so it can be resent. However, the routines
that save and restore the state miss a significnt part of the
variable state in the wqe, the dma struct which is used to process
through the sge table. And, the state is not saved before the packet
is built which modifies the dma struct.
Under heavy stress testing with many QPs on a fast node sending
large messages to a slow node dropped packets are observed and
the resent packets are corrupted because the dma struct was not
restored. This patch fixes this behavior and allows the test cases
to succeed.

The triggering error also originates in the local IP/qdisc layer.
AC:L - The attacker fully controls the condition that produces the -EAGAIN drop — the commit itself describes it arising from many QPs sending large messages, and an unprivileged user can additionally saturate the outbound qdisc of the same netdev to force NET_XMIT_DROP on demand. The rollback path is then hit deterministically and can be retried indefinitely.
PR:L - Only an unprivileged local account is needed: rdma-core udev rules expose /dev/infiniband/uverbs* mode 0666, so any user (including inside a container) can create QPs and post sends once an rxe link exists. No capability check gates the requester path.
UI:N - The attacker's own posted sends plus self-generated network congestion drive the entire sequence; no action by any other user or administrator is required.
S:U - The corrupted state and its effects stay within the kernel's RDMA subsystem and the QPs of the same security authority; no VM, IOMMU, or sandbox boundary is crossed.
C:H - The desynchronized dma cursor makes the requester transmit a different region of registered memory than the PSN/opcode declares, so registered buffer contents are delivered to memory offsets the application never intended, and short/zero-payload packets (e.g. ATOMIC_WRITE with resid already 0) drive the receiving responder to consume data past the declared payload. Treating the state corruption as leverageable for disclosure, this is scored High.
I:H - This is the core impact — resent packets carry the wrong SGE data, so a multi-packet SEND or RDMA WRITE silently writes truncated/shifted content into the peer's registered memory while the local completion still reports IB_WC_SUCCESS, giving undetected corruption of application and (for NFS/RDMA, iSER, NVMe-oF, SMB Direct over rxe) on-disk data.
A:H - When the dropped packet was the LAST of a message, the retry emits a zero-length END packet that the responder rejects with RESPST_ERR_LENGTH (rxe_resp.c:378-382), and early-terminated WRITEs trip the pktlen check in check_rkey(); either produces NAK_INVALID_REQUEST, driving both RC QPs into the error state and destroying the connection along with all in-flight and queued work."

Title
IB/hfi1: Fix sdma.h tx->num_descs off-by-one error
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
IB/hfi1: Fix sdma.h tx->num_descs off-by-one error
Unfortunately the commit `fd8958efe877` introduced another error
causing the `descs` array to overflow. This reults in further crashes
easily reproducible by `sendmsg` system call.

If an SDMA send consists of exactly 6 descriptors and requires dword
padding (in the 7th descriptor), the sdma_txreq descriptor array is not
properly expanded and the packet will overflow into the container
structure. This results in a panic when the send completion runs. The
exact panic varies depending on what elements of the container structure
get corrupted. The fix is to use the correct expression in
_pad_sdma_tx_descs() to test the need to expand the descriptor array.
With this patch the crashes are no longer reproducible and the machine is
stable.
AV:L - The overflow is driven entirely by the local sender's skb layout (number of page frags and total length), reached via an ordinary `sendmsg`/`writev` syscall on a socket routed over the hfi1 IPoIB netdev, as the reporter's `__sys_sendmsg` → `ipoib_start_xmit` → `hfi1_ipoib_send` trace shows. A remote peer cannot dictate the local skb fragment layout, so this is a local syscall vector, not network.
AC:L - There is no race and no memory-layout dependency: the attacker deterministically chooses 4 page fragments plus a payload length not divisible by 4, which makes `num_desc` equal `desc_limit` exactly when padding is appended. Every attempt with that shape overflows `descs[6]`.
PR:L - Any unprivileged local account can send datagrams out an IPoIB interface; no capability, no `/dev/infiniband` or `/dev/hfi1` access, and no namespace trickery is required. The `hfi1_ipoib_send` path is reached from the generic `dev_hard_start_xmit` transmit path available to all users.
UI:N - The attacker's own `sendmsg` call triggers the overflow and the subsequent completion/reuse of the corrupted txreq; no administrator or victim action is involved.
S:U - The out-of-bounds write stays within kernel memory managed by the same kernel security authority; no VM, IOMMU, or sandbox boundary is crossed.
C:H - The overflow clobbers `ipoib_txreq.sdma_hdr`, a pointer that is later handed to `sdma_txadd_kvaddr()`/`dma_map_single()` as the packet-header DMA source, so corrupted-pointer contents can be DMA'd onto the fabric; more generally an attacker-triggered out-of-bounds write over adjacent pointer fields is memory corruption leverageable for disclosure.
I:H - This is a straight out-of-bounds write of a 32-byte descriptor past `descs[NUM_DESC]` into the container structure, overwriting `sdma_hdr`, `priv` and `txq` (and `qp`/`wqe`/`ss` or a `list_head` in the verbs and user_sdma containers), which then serve as write targets and list-manipulation operands.
A:H - The reporter reproduced an immediate general protection fault in `hfi1_ipoib_build_ib_tx_headers()` from the corrupted `sdma_hdr`, and the NULLed `txq`/`priv` guarantee a NULL dereference in the completion path — a repeatable kernel panic from an unprivileged syscall."
