    Title
ElementsKit Elementor Addons <= 3.8.2 - Missing Authorization to Unauthenticated Widget Content Overwrite
    Summary
The ElementsKit Elementor Addons plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the `Live_Action::reset()` function in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.2 The function is hooked to the WordPress `init` action and triggers when both `post` and `action=elementor` GET parameters are present, with no authentication or nonce verification. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to overwrite the Elementor content (`_elementor_data`) of any `elementskit_widget` custom post type by visiting a specially crafted URL. The widget's custom designs, text, and configurations are permanently replaced with a blank template.

    Title
EmailKit <= 1.6.5 - Authenticated (Author+) Arbitrary File Read via 'emailkit-editor-template' REST Parameter
    Summary
The EmailKit plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in all versions up to and including 1.6.5. This is due to a flawed path traversal validation in the create_template() method of the CheckForm class, where realpath() is called on the allowed base directory (wp-content/uploads/emailkit/templates/) which may not exist, causing it to return false. In PHP 8.x, strpos($real_path, false) implicitly converts false to an empty string, and strpos() with an empty needle always returns 0, causing the check strpos(...) !== 0 to evaluate to false and bypassing the path validation entirely. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to read arbitrary files from the server, including sensitive files such as wp-config.php, by supplying an absolute path to the emailkit-editor-template REST API parameter.

    Title
ElementsKit Elementor Addons and Templates <= 3.7.9 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Simple Tab Widget
    Summary
The ElementsKit Elementor Addons and Templates plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'ekit_tab_title' parameter in the Simple Tab widget in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.9 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

    Vulnerability from nvd – Published: 2026-03-20 23:25 – Updated: 2026-04-08 17:26
    VLAI
    Title
EmailKit <= 1.6.3 - Authenticated (Administrator+) Path Traversal via 'emailkit-editor-template' REST API Parameter
    Summary
The EmailKit – Email Customizer for WooCommerce & WP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file read via path traversal in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.3. This is due to the action() function in the TemplateData class passing user-supplied input from the 'emailkit-editor-template' REST API parameter directly to file_get_contents() without any path validation, sanitization, or restriction to an allowed directory. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access, to read arbitrary files on the server (such as /etc/passwd or wp-config.php) by supplying a traversal path. The file contents are stored as post meta and can subsequently be retrieved via the fetch-data REST API endpoint. Notably, the CheckForm class in the same plugin implements proper path validation using realpath() and directory restriction, demonstrating that the developer was aware of the risk but failed to apply the same protections to the TemplateData endpoint.

This is due to the action() function in the TemplateData class passing user-supplied input from the \u0027emailkit-editor-template\u0027 REST API parameter directly to file_get_contents() without any path validation, sanitization, or restriction to an allowed directory. Notably, the CheckForm class in the same plugin implements proper path validation using realpath() and directory restriction, demonstrating that the developer was aware of the risk but failed to apply the same protections to the TemplateData endpoint."

    Title
GetGenie <= 4.3.2 - Insecure Direct Object Reference to Authenticated (Author+) Arbitrary Post Overwrite/Deletion
    Summary
The GetGenie plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.2. This is due to missing validation on the `id` parameter in the `create()` method of the `GetGenieChat` REST API endpoint. The method accepts a user-controlled post ID and, when a post with that ID exists, calls `wp_update_post()` without verifying that the current user owns the post or that the post is of the expected `getgenie_chat` type. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to overwrite arbitrary posts owned by any user — including Administrators — effectively destroying the original content by changing its `post_type` to `getgenie_chat` and reassigning `post_author` to the attacker.

    Title
GetGenie <= 4.3.2 - Insecure Direct Object Reference to Authenticated (Author+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via REST API
    Summary
The GetGenie plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.2 due to missing validation on a user controlled key in the `action` function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to update post metadata for arbitrary posts. Combined with a lack of input sanitization, this leads to Stored Cross-Site Scripting when a higher-privileged user (such as an Administrator) views the affected post's "Competitor" tab in the GetGenie sidebar.

    CVE-2026-23693 (GCVE-0-2026-23693)

    Vulnerability from nvd – Published: 2026-02-23 20:33 – Updated: 2026-02-25 15:10

    Title
ElementsKit Elementor Addons < 3.7.9 Unauthenticated Mailchimp REST Endpoint
    Summary
ElementsKit Elementor Addons – Advanced Widgets & Templates Addons for Elementor (elementskit-lite) WordPress plugin versions prior to 3.7.9 expose the REST endpoint /wp-json/elementskit/v1/widget/mailchimp/subscribe without authentication. The endpoint accepts client-supplied Mailchimp API credentials and insufficiently validates certain parameters, including the list parameter, when constructing upstream Mailchimp API requests. An unauthenticated attacker can abuse the endpoint as an open proxy to Mailchimp, potentially triggering unauthorized API calls, manipulating subscription data, exhausting API quotas, or causing resource consumption on the affected WordPress site.

    Title
PopupKit <= 2.2.0 - Missing Authorization to Sensitive Information Disclosure and Data Deletion
    Summary
The PopupKit plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.0. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to access the /popup/logs REST API endpoint. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to read and delete analytics data including device types, browser information, countries, referrer URLs, and campaign metrics.

    Title
Popup builder with Gamification <= 2.2.0 - Unauthenticated SQL Injection via Multiple REST API Endpoints
    Summary
The Popup builder with Gamification, Multi-Step Popups, Page-Level Targeting, and WooCommerce Triggers plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the multiple REST API endpoints in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.0 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Vulnerability was patched in version 2.2.1 for unauthenticated users, and fully patched in version 2.2.3 for Administrator+ level users.

    Title
MetForm – Contact Form, Survey, Quiz, & Custom Form Builder for Elementor <= 4.1.0 - Unauthenticated Form Submission Exposure via Forgeable Cookie Value
    Summary
The MetForm – Contact Form, Survey, Quiz, & Custom Form Builder for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in versions up to, and including, 4.1.0. This is due to the use of a forgeable cookie value derived only from the entry ID and current user ID without a server-side secret. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to access form submission entry data via MetForm shortcodes for entries created within the transient TTL (default is 15 minutes).

    Title
GetGenie – AI Content Writer with Keyword Research & SEO Tracking Tools <= 4.3.0 - Missing Authorization to Authenticated (Author+) Arbitrary Post Deletion
    Summary
The GetGenie plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.0. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to delete a specific post. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to delete any post on the WordPress site, including posts authored by other users.

    Title
EmailKit <= 1.6.1 - Authenticated (Author+) Arbitrary File Read via Path Traversal
    Summary
The EmailKit plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read via Path Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.1. This is due to missing path validation in the create_template REST API endpoint where user-controlled input from the emailkit-editor-template parameter is passed directly to file_get_contents() without sanitization. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Author-level permissions or higher to read arbitrary files on the server, including sensitive configuration files like /etc/passwd and wp-config.php, via the REST API. The file contents are stored in post meta and can be exfiltrated through MetForm's email confirmation feature.

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-03-20 23:25 – Updated: 2026-04-08 17:26

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-02-23 20:33 – Updated: 2026-02-25 15:10

    Title
ElementsKit Elementor Addons < 3.7.9 Unauthenticated Mailchimp REST Endpoint
    Summary
ElementsKit Elementor Addons – Advanced Widgets & Templates Addons for Elementor (elementskit-lite) WordPress plugin versions prior to 3.7.9 expose the REST endpoint /wp-json/elementskit/v1/widget/mailchimp/subscribe without authentication. The endpoint accepts client-supplied Mailchimp API credentials and insufficiently validates certain parameters, including the list parameter, when constructing upstream Mailchimp API requests. An unauthenticated attacker can abuse the endpoint as an open proxy to Mailchimp, potentially triggering unauthorized API calls, manipulating subscription data, exhausting API quotas, or causing resource consumption on the affected WordPress site.

    Title
EmailKit – Email Customizer for WooCommerce & WP <= 1.6.2 - Missing Authorization to Authenticated (Subscriber+) Arbitrary Post Title Modification
    Summary
The EmailKit – Email Customizer for WooCommerce & WP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized data modification due to a missing capability check on the 'update_template_data' function in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.2. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to modify the title of any post on the site, including posts, pages, and custom post types.
