IO::Compress versions from 2.207 before 2.220 for Perl ship a zipdetails CLI tool that crashes with undefined subroutine on Info-ZIP Unix Extra Field with 8-byte UID or GID
Summary
IO::Compress versions from 2.207 before 2.220 for Perl ship a zipdetails CLI tool that crashes with undefined subroutine on Info-ZIP Unix Extra Field with 8-byte UID or GID.
When decode_ux() in bin/zipdetails handles an Info-ZIP Unix Extra Field (tag 0x7875) with UID Size or GID Size set to 8, causing zipdetails to decode an 8-byte UID or GID value, it dispatches through decodeLitteEndian(), which calls a misnamed helper unpackValueQ. The actual function defined in the same file is unpackValue_Q (with underscore); the call raises 'Undefined subroutine &main::unpackValueQ' and the script exits with status 255.
Library callers of IO::Compress and IO::Uncompress are not affected; the defect is in the bundled CLI tool.

Title
PyJWT: PyJWKClient unbounded JWKS endpoint requests via attacker-controlled kid values (DoS)
Summary
PyJWT is a JSON Web Token implementation in Python. Prior to 2.13.0, PyJWKClient.get_signing_key() forces a fresh HTTP request to the JWKS endpoint for every JWT with an unknown kid value, with no rate limiting. Since kid comes from the unverified token header, an attacker can trigger unlimited outbound requests. The vulnerability surfaces only when a JWKS fetch fails; an attacker can attempt to provoke that with sustained unknown-kid traffic, but the outcome depends on upstream JWKS-endpoint behavior (rate limiting, transient errors) which is beyond the attacker's control. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.13.0.

Hulumi is an open-source toolkit that ships secure-by-default cloud and platform infrastructure components for Pulumi. Prior to version 1.4.0, consumers running drift detection in CI / cron could see transient adapter failures silently cached as "all clear" — masking real attacks for up to six hours — or see ordinary provider-version churn falsely promoted to incident severity. Either way, the verdict source was unreliable for downstream incident workflows that gate on it. This issue has been patched in version 1.4.0.

opentelemetry-js: Prometheus exporter process crash via malformed HTTP request
Summary
opentelemetry-js is the OpenTelemetry JavaScript Client. Prior to 0.217.0, a single malformed HTTP request crashes any Node.js process running the OpenTelemetry JS Prometheus exporter. The metrics endpoint (default 0.0.0.0:9464) has no error handling around URL parsing, so a request with an invalid URI causes an uncaught TypeError that terminates the process. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.217.0.

Title
Nimiq network-libp2p: Untrusted peer can wedge DHT
Summary
Nimiq is a Rust implementation of the Nimiq Proof-of-Stake protocol based on the Albatross consensus algorithm. network-libp2p handles kad get-record query progress in handle_dht_get (network-libp2p/src/swarm.rs). Prior to version 1.4.0, when a peer returns a FoundRecord, the code verifies the record via dht_verifier.verify(&record.record). On verifier error, handle_dht_get logs and returns early without completing the oneshot used by Network::dht_get, and without cleaning up per-query bookkeeping. Later query progress can hit the "DHT inconsistent state" path and also return without cleanup. Because Network::dht_get awaits the oneshot without a timeout, the caller future can hang indefinitely. This issue has been patched in version 1.4.0.

Summary
free5GC is an open-source implementation of the 5G core network. Prior to 4.2.2, free5GC's NRF root SBI endpoint POST /oauth2/token contains a parser-level type-confusion bug family. The handler in NFs/nrf/internal/sbi/api_accesstoken.go reflects over models.NrfAccessTokenAccessTokenReq, special-cases only plain string and NrfNfManagementNfType fields, and treats every other field as if it were a single models.PlmnId. The parsed *models.PlmnId is then assigned with reflect.Value.Set() to whichever field name the attacker put in the form body, which panics whenever the destination field's real type is incompatible (slice, different struct, primitive). Gin recovery converts each panic into HTTP 500, but the endpoint remains remotely panicable from a single unauthenticated form-encoded request and is repeatedly triggerable. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.2.

free5GC: NEF crashes via logger.Fatal on PFD notification delivery failure (attacker-controlled notifyUri)
Summary
free5GC is an open-source implementation of the 5G core network. Prior to 4.2.2, free5GC's NEF terminates the entire process when a stored PFD-subscription notifyUri cannot be reached. In PfdChangeNotifier.FlushNotifications(), the notifier calls NnefPFDmanagementNotify(...) and on any delivery error invokes logger.PFDManageLog.Fatal(err), which is os.Exit(1)-equivalent in Go. An attacker who can create a PFD subscription with an attacker-chosen notifyUri and then trigger a PFD change can deterministically kill NEF on the asynchronous delivery attempt -- the process exits with status 1, dropping NEF's entire SBI surface until restart. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.2.

epmd permanent DoS via EMFILE on accept(2) in erts
Summary
Improper Handling of Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in Erlang OTP erts (epmd) allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to permanently terminate the Erlang Port Mapper Daemon (epmd) via connection slot exhaustion.
The do_accept function in erts/epmd/src/epmd_srv.c calls epmd_cleanup_exit() when accept(2) returns EMFILE (per-process file descriptor limit reached) or ENFILE (system-wide file descriptor limit reached), rather than treating these as recoverable conditions. An attacker can exhaust epmd's file descriptor slots by holding many TCP connections open while periodically sending a single byte to reset the idle timeout, then causing accept(2) to return EMFILE, which kills the daemon. epmd has no per-source-IP connection cap, making the attack feasible from a single source.
On Debian/Ubuntu default packaging the impact is amplified: the systemd unit inherits a low file descriptor soft limit, and repeated daemon deaths trigger systemd's start-rate-limit, permanently failing both epmd.service and epmd.socket and requiring manual operator intervention to recover.
This issue affects OTP from OTP 17.0 before OTP 29.0.4, OTP 28.5.0.4 and OTP 27.3.4.15.

Title
Granian: DoS via WSGI response header panic
Summary
Granian is a Rust HTTP server for Python applications. From 0.2.0 to 2.7.4, Granian aborts a worker process if a WSGI application returns an invalid HTTP response header name or value. The WSGI response conversion path uses .unwrap() on both the header name and header value constructors, so malformed output from the application becomes a process abort instead of a handled error. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.7.4.
