Vulnerability from csaf_certbund - Published: 2024-10-13 22:00 - Updated: 2024-10-13 22:00Es besteht eine Schwachstelle in GitHub Enterprise Server. Dieser Fehler existiert wegen einer unsachgemäßen Validierung von Asset-URLs in der Komponente zur Dateiverarbeitung. Ein entfernter, authentifizierter Angreifer kann diese Schwachstelle ausnutzen, indem er eine bösartige SVG-Datei hochlädt und einen Benutzer dazu bringt, auf die Asset-URL zu klicken, was zum Abrufen von Metadateninformationen über den Benutzer führt. Diese Informationen können dann verwendet werden, um eine überzeugende Phishing-Seite zu erstellen.
