Vulnerability from csaf_certbund - Published: 2019-03-10 23:00 - Updated: 2023-11-26 23:00Es existiert eine Schwachstelle in poppler. Die Schwachstelle existiert aufgrund eines Heap-basierten Pufferüberlaufs in der CairoRescaleBox.cc downsample_row_box_filter Funktion. Ein Angreifer kann diese Schwachstelle ausnutzen, um einen Denial of Service Zustand zu erzeugen und möglicherweise Code zur Ausführung zu bringen. Zur erfolgreichen Ausnutzung dieser Schwachstelle muss der Angreifer den Benutzer dazu bringen, eine speziell gestaltete PDF-Datei zu öffnen.
