IBM heeft kwetsbaarheden verholpen in IBM Cognos Analytics
Interpretaties
De kwetsbaarheid in IBM Cognos Analytics ontstaat door onjuiste validatie van bestandsextensies, waardoor externe aanvallers willekeurige bestanden kunnen uploaden. Dit beveiligingsprobleem kan leiden tot de uitvoering van kwaadaardige code op het getroffen systeem, wat een ernstige bedreiging vormt voor de integriteit van gegevens en de beveiliging van het systeem. Daarnaast is er een kwetsbaarheid die het mogelijk maakt voor externe aanvallers om specifieke Expression Language requests te maken die toegang kunnen geven tot gevoelige informatie, geheugenbronnen kunnen uitputten of de server kunnen laten crashen.
