Details

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

drm/msm: Avoid NULL dereference in msm_disp_state_print_regs()

If the allocation in msm_disp_state_dump_regs() failed then block->state can be NULL. The msm_disp_state_print_regs() function does have code to try to handle it with:

if (reg) dump_addr = reg;

...but since "dump_addr" is initialized to NULL the above is actually a noop. The code then goes on to dereference dump_addr.

Make the function print "Registers not stored" when it sees a NULL to solve this. Since we're touching the code, fix msm_disp_state_print_regs() not to pointlessly take a double-pointer and properly mark the pointer as const.

An authorized user could trigger a server crash by running a query with a 2dsphere index on a field that stores a GeoJSON GeometryCollection containing a Polygon with a strict-winding CRS.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

Bluetooth: hci_ldisc: Clear HCI_UART_PROTO_INIT on error

When hci_register_dev() fails in hci_uart_register_dev() HCI_UART_PROTO_INIT is not cleared before calling hu->proto->close(hu) and setting hu->hdev to NULL. This means incoming UART data will reach the protocol-specific recv handler in hci_uart_tty_receive() after resources are freed.

Clear HCI_UART_PROTO_INIT with a write lock before calling hu->proto->close() and setting hu->hdev to NULL. The write lock ensures all active readers have completed and no new reader can enter the protocol recv path before resources are freed.

This allows the protocol-specific recv functions to remove the "HCI_UART_REGISTERED" guard without risking a null pointer dereference if hci_register_dev() fails.
