GHSA-M4W2-2J95-QX2Q
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2026-01-23 18:31 – Updated: 2026-07-14 15:31In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: mscc: ocelot: Fix crash when adding interface under a lag
Commit 15faa1f67ab4 ("lan966x: Fix crash when adding interface under a lag") fixed a similar issue in the lan966x driver caused by a NULL pointer dereference. The ocelot_set_aggr_pgids() function in the ocelot driver has similar logic and is susceptible to the same crash.
This issue specifically affects the ocelot_vsc7514.c frontend, which leaves unused ports as NULL pointers. The felix_vsc9959.c frontend is unaffected as it uses the DSA framework which registers all ports.
Fix this by checking if the port pointer is valid before accessing it.

GHSA-M4WX-HVH8-H9R5
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2025-12-11 18:30 – Updated: 2025-12-11 18:30An issue was discovered in Foxit PDF and Editor for Windows before 13.2 and 2025 before 2025.2. When pages in a PDF are deleted via JavaScript, the application may fail to properly update internal states. Subsequent annotation management operations assume these states are valid, causing dereference of invalid or released memory. This can lead to memory corruption, application crashes, and potentially allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code.

GHSA-M562-WCCV-64RV
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2025-04-14 21:32 – Updated: 2025-04-14 21:32In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: sd: Fix potential NULL pointer dereference
If sd_probe() sees an early error before sdkp->device is initialized, sd_zbc_release_disk() is called. This causes a NULL pointer dereference when sd_is_zoned() is called inside that function. Avoid this by removing the call to sd_zbc_release_disk() in sd_probe() error path.
This change is safe and does not result in zone information memory leakage because the zone information for a zoned disk is allocated only when sd_revalidate_disk() is called, at which point sdkp->disk_dev is fully set, resulting in sd_disk_release() being called when needed to cleanup a disk zone information using sd_zbc_release_disk().

Mitigation MIT-56
For any pointers that could have been modified or provided from a function that can return NULL, check the pointer for NULL before use. When working with a multithreaded or otherwise asynchronous environment, ensure that proper locking APIs are used to lock before the check, and unlock when it has finished [REF-1484].
Mitigation
Select a programming language that is not susceptible to these issues.
Mitigation
Check the results of all functions that return a value and verify that the value is non-null before acting upon it.
Mitigation
Identify all variables and data stores that receive information from external sources, and apply input validation to make sure that they are only initialized to expected values.
Mitigation
Explicitly initialize all variables and other data stores, either during declaration or just before the first usage.
No CAPEC attack patterns related to this CWE.
