CVE-2023-29156 (GCVE-0-2023-29156)

Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2023-07-11 08:42 – Updated: 2024-11-06 19:38

Title
Denial of Service due to loss of information in DroneScout ds230 Remote ID receiver from BlueMark Innovations
Summary
DroneScout ds230 Remote ID receiver from BlueMark Innovations is affected by an information loss vulnerability through traffic injection. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by injecting, at the right times, spoofed Open Drone ID (ODID) messages which force the DroneScout ds230 Remote ID receiver to drop real Remote ID (RID) information and, instead, generate and transmit JSON encoded MQTT messages containing crafted RID information. Consequently, the MQTT broker, typically operated by a system integrator, will have no access to the drones’ real RID information. This issue affects DroneScout ds230 in default configuration from firmware version 20211210-1627 through 20230329-1042.

Vulnerability from github – Published: 2023-07-11 09:30 – Updated: 2024-09-30 12:30
VLAI
Details

DroneScout ds230 Remote ID receiver from BlueMark Innovations is affected by an information loss vulnerability through traffic injection.

An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by injecting, on carefully selected channels, high power spoofed Open Drone ID (ODID) messages which force the DroneScout ds230 Remote ID receiver to drop real Remote ID (RID) information and, instead, generate and transmit JSON encoded MQTT messages containing crafted RID information. Consequently, the MQTT broker, typically operated by a system integrator, will have no access to the drones’ real RID information.

This issue affects the adjacent channel suppression algorithm present in DroneScout ds230 firmware from version 20211210-1627 through 20230329-1042.

Details

GHSA-QX5F-75HG-MF2C

Vulnerability from github – Published: 2026-09-15 12:31 – Updated: 2026-09-15 12:31
VLAI
Details

Affected versions of MISP can record incorrect access-log data for requests that terminate in an exception.

Because CakeErrorController extends AppController, exception rendering runs the application startup path a second time. As a result, __accessMonitor() calls AccessLog::logRequest() twice for one HTTP request. The second deferred writer measures the error-controller execution instead of the original request and can overwrite the row created by the first pass. The corrupted fields include request duration, SQL query count, memory usage, and potentially the recorded query log.

The bug was masked because the same model instance retained the ID of the first saved row, causing the later save to issue an UPDATE rather than insert an obvious duplicate row.

Version affected: ≤2.5.45

Vulnerability from github – Published: 2025-01-07 15:25 – Updated: 2025-01-22 17:37
VLAI
Summary
matrix-sdk-crypto missing facility to signal rotation of a verified cryptographic identity
Details

Impact

Versions of the matrix-sdk-crypto Rust crate before 0.8.0 lack a dedicated mechanism to notify that a user's cryptographic identity has changed from a verified to an unverified one, which could cause client applications relying on the SDK to overlook such changes.

Patches

matrix-sdk-crypto 0.8.0 adds a new VerificationLevel::VerificationViolation enum variant which indicates that a previously verified identity has been changed.
