        <p>GnuTLS before 2017-02-20 has an out-of-bounds write caused by an integer overflow and heap-based buffer overflow related to the cdk_pkt_read function in opencdk/read-packet.c. This issue (which is a subset of the vendor's GNUTLS-SA-2017-3 report) is fixed in 3.5.10.</p>

<p>Hubert Kario discovered that GnuTLS incorrectly handled decoding a status
response TLS extension. A remote attacker could possibly use this issue to
cause GnuTLS to crash, resulting in a denial of service. This issue only
applied to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, Ubuntu 16.10 and Ubuntu 17.04. (CVE-2017-7507)</p>
<p>It was discovered that GnuTLS incorrectly handled decoding certain OpenPGP
certificates. A remote attacker could use this issue to cause GnuTLS to
crash, resulting in a denial of service, or possibly execute arbitrary
code. (CVE-2017-7869)</p></div>
